Glo Ambassadors charge Nigerian youths on hard work

boviBRAND ambassadors of telecommunications company, Globacom, have counseled Nigerian youths to embrace the virtue of hard work and discipline to become successful in society.
Popular comedian, Bovi Ugboma, and Nollywood actor, Adekola Odunlade, who are both Glo ambassadors gave the advice during interactive sessions with their fans at the Globacom pavilions at Bar Beach, Victoria Island, and Agege Stadium, Ikeja, centres of the One Lagos Fiesta (OLF), sponsored by the company.
In Victoria Island, Bovi charged Nigerian youths to focus on self-development and become masters of their fields in order to get the best things of life, including signing endorsement deals with top corporate organizations such as Globacom.
While answering a question on what his experience has been since he became a Glo ambassador and how an aspiring artiste could break into that big league of brand endorsement, Bovi said the focus of such an aspiring entertainer should be to achieve excellence in his chosen field of endeavour.
“Brand endorsement relationships are symbiotic in nature,” said Bovi, who signed an endorsement deal with Globacom in July 2015. He explained that Globacom as a company loves to associate with artistes who try to excel in their field, adding that brand endorsement was the company’s way of reaching out to the youth and motivating them to attain excellence in their chosen fields.
The comedian, whose appearance at the Glo pavilion attracted many youths, including up and coming artistes, advised them to focus on mastering their art and refrain from chasing fame for the sake of it. He warned that achieving fame before professional excellence is the reason many supposed stars fizzle out quickly.
At the Ikeja centre of OLF, Odunlade advised the crowd who were mostly youths to shun social vices that would endanger their lives and embrace hard work if they are to succeed in life. He signed autograph for over five hundred of them and took photographs with many of them.
Two other Glo ambassadors, Basketmouth, a comedian, and Burna Boy, a musician, also took turns to answer questions from their fans who stormed the Globacom stand.
