Delta names Etu as new Warri Wolves’ chairman

Warri Wolves’ new chairman, Moses Etu.
Sports journalist, Moses Etu, who until recently was the media officer of Warri Wolves Football Club, is now the chairman of the club. This follows the dissolution of the board of the club announced yesterday.
The board of Delta State’s women football team, Delta Queens, has also been dissolved.
Announcing a new board for Warri Wolves yesterday at the Patrick Okpomo Football House, Asaba, Chairman of Delta State Sports Council, Tony Okowa, said the changes were necessitated by the need to reposition the clubs for better performances.
He thanked the former Warri Wolves’ board, led by Davidson Owumi, and Delta Queens management, led by Solomon Ogba, for the efforts they put in raising the profiles of the clubs.
Also in the new Warri Wolves’ board are Mr. Alex Amudo, Kenneth Nwamucha and Mr. Asupa Christopher Iyere.
The club’s new general manager is former international and current vice chairman of Delta Football Association, Edema Fuludu, while Sam Okpodu is now the head coach of the team.
The media manager is Azuka Chiemeka and Dr John Oganwun is the club grand patron.
Okpodu replaced Paul Aigbogun, whose contract as chief coach expired at the end of last season.
