Nigerian couple gives birth to ‘miracle’ white baby...

Nigerian couple gives birth to ‘miracle’ white baby...

Angela and Ben Ihegboro

Angela and Ben Ihegboro gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but were ‘speechless’ upon seeing her in flesh and blood. It wasn’t just their daughter, Nmachi‘s looks that left the mother and her husband lost for words, it was the fact that Angela and her husband are both dark-skinned native Nigerian immigrants but gave birth to a ‘white’ girl, Nmachi in London.

Of course, early speculation was that Angela may have been unfaithful to her husband but Ben shot down that notion immediately by insisting there has never been anything such thing.

According to TheSource.com: Doctors have a list of potential reasons as to‎ why the Ihegboros gave birth to a blonde-haired, blue-eyed white baby. One of which is that she’s likely to be the result of a gene mutation unique to her, according to medics. And if that is the case, Nmachi would pass the gene to her children — and they, too are likely to be white.

She’s also thought to be the product of long-dormant white genes passed on to her by her parents but which might have been carried by their predecessors for generations without surfacing until now.‎ It is not the first time that Nigerians abroad, though, black, have given birth to white babies..

President Goodluck Jonathan has visited Mubi in Adamawa State, more than three months after Nigerian troops recaptured the town from the insurgent group, Boko Haram.

The president arrived Yola international airport at about 10.45a.m. Thursday, accompanied by the Chief of Defence staff and all the service chiefs and the inspector general of police. He later travelled by helicopter to Mubi.

At Mubi, Mr. Jonathan met with the Emir of Mubi, Isa Ahamadu, and the people of the area.

There were unconfirmed reports that the president visited Vintim village in Mubi, the home town of Nigeria’s Defence Chief, Alex Badeh.

But security sources told PREMIUM TIMES that from Mubi, Mr. Jonathan was to travel to Baga in neighbouring Borno State.

Baga was reclaimed by government troops last week after Boko Haram militants overran the town killing hundreds and displacing thousands.

Nigerian Woman Arrested In USA For Preaching Loudly And Disturbing Public Peace

Nigerian Woman Arrested In USA For Preaching Loudly And Disturbing Public Peace

A Nigerian woman is in trouble in North Dakota – for praying too loudly and preaching on the streets.

Martha Nagbe was fined $150 after two court appearances for causing ‘unnecessary noise’.

However, Mrs Nagbe, the wife of a pastor, said she will carry on as before, because she can’t help it.

She told Valley News Live:

‘I can't stop. i have to win souls for the kingdom,  I'm trusting God.’

Mrs Nagbe moved to North Dakota from Nigeria for a better life and now feels disillusioned.

She added:

‘In the United States it's one nation under God.’

The police remain adamant that she was causing a nuisance, with Police Chief Jeanette Persons stating that the problem wasn’t the praying, but the volume of her voice.

She said:

‘I mean, we all need prayers and great she's out there praying for all of us, but it's just the volume of her voice.’

Chief Persons added that Mrs Nagbe would linger outside people’s homes shouting and telling them to repent.

Her husband, Pastor Nagbe said he was upset that his wife was being made to look like a bad person and urged officials to treat her with respect.

From Death Bait To Smooth Sailing: How The Deplorable Benin-Ore Road Got It’s Groove Back!

From Death Bait To Smooth Sailing: How The Deplorable Benin-Ore Road Got It’s Groove Back!

The Deplorable Benin-Ore Road Before It was fixed By This Present Government

26-year-old Timi Adeoye graduated two years ago from the University of Benin and was a frequent user of the Benin-Ore route. According to him, “traveling on Nigerian roads used to be a nightmare for me; I still remember spending twelve long hours on a trip from Lagos to Benin regularly since I got admission eight years ago. “

“The memory of those trips still leaves a distaste in my mouth”, he continues, “but I had to continue because I had to go school. “

Being a road that is the major link road between the West and South of Nigeria, it was appalling that it was in that state of decay. From 2006 to as recent as 2012, anyone who plied the Benin-Ore route would have easily testified to its horrific state. The deplorable condition of the road aside, there were daredevil armed robbers who were lords of the night and perpetual residents of the area and it was inevitable that travellers inclined to always say a prayer to avert terrible traffic jam lasting hours, and loss of lives and property. As Adeoye aptly describes it, it was “hell on Earth”.
The New Road

Popular columnist, Sonala Olumhense once said, “If you are a Nigerian, chances are you know someone who has spent an entire day, at least once, traveling the 140-mile Sagamu-Benin City road, or been killed trying to do so.“

As the legend goes, a former Minister of Works was reported to have cried openly while inspecting the said road once, calling it a guzzler of lives. Citizen upon citizen have resorted to pleading with successive governments on national television and through other media to see to the swift repairs of the said road. Despite all these coupled with criticisms from traditional monarchs especially the Oba of Benin whose domain has been a major victim, unfulfilled promises continued to be the order of the day.

Sagamu-Benin is part of the Lagos-Mombasa, as well as Algiers-Lagos sections of the Trans-Africa Highway, and of Nigeria’s East-West Road. First constructed in the 70s, it was originally a three-hour route. Since it began to deteriorate, contracts have been awarded every other year by different governments. Somehow, nothing concrete has been done.

Then good luck came along, even literally. At last, the cries of Nigerians had broken through to the top echelons and the current government’s determination to get the road fixed and useable again was to put a smile on the faces of those who ply the road.

Tapping into the controversial Subsidy Re-investment Programme (SURE-P) funds, the federal government decided to fix the roads once and for all to ease the suffering of commuters. In September 2014, President Goodluck Jonathan commissioned the Phase 1 of the road, spanning 75 kilometres. The second phase, as Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen explained had not been fully completed because of technical challenges but was commendably over 60% done.
An excited governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo state – a prominent member of the opposition All Progressives’ Congress (APC) – stressed that the Federal Government’s effort in reconstructing the road is “the most outstanding intervention the road has witnessed over the years.
A road that was once a death trap began to wear a new face and is in its present state, good as brand new. A journey of twelve hours and counting has now been reduced to a third of that time – four hours or less.

“God sent us his son in the form of Goodluck Jonathan!” shrieks Madam Veronica Omoregie who travels every week from Lagos to Asaba to buy goods for her trade that has sustained her and her three children since her husband died tragically in an auto crash on the same road, in 1999.

This transformation was even buttressed by a recent survey conducted by the NOI-Gallup Polls on the 8th of January 2015, which showed that 60% of Nigerians who travelled during the yuletide season acknowledged that the roads had indeed been improved on.
According to the findings released, majority of Nigeria road users found it easier to travel to their different destinations in various parts of the country during the Christmas holiday, unlike the previous year.

The survey read in part, ‘Overall, 69 percent of respondents were of the opinion that the roads had either improved or had improved very much.

As a result of the improved condition of the Benin-Ore road and others in general, transport giants, ABC Transport Company slashed its fare prices in a widely circulated advert carried by The Punch Newspaper in May 2014.

It reportedly added the words, ‘The roads are getting better’, a phrase that is a true reflection of the government’s commitment to infrastructure and national development.
On his way to collect his transcripts last week, Adeoye slept for most of the journey in the 18-seater bus he boarded from Lagos to the university’s main campus in Ugbowo, one of Benin’s many sprawling districts. The inscription “Welcome is the best journey” on the lorry in front of his vehicle one of the few times he was awake barely registered until he got down – the trip was too smooth for him to care.

Obama to Nigerian Christians: Change Laws on Abortion, Homosexuality If You Want Protection from Boko Haram

Obama to Nigerian Christians: Change Laws on Abortion, Homosexuality If You Want Protection from Boko Haram

A Catholic Bishop from Nigeria has leveled an explosive charge against President Barack Obama over his failure to adequately help Nigeria in the African nation’s fight againt the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram that might explain why Obama has let Boko Haram slaughter Nigerian Christians and rape and enslave Christian girls.

Bishop Emmanuel Badejo spoke in Rome to Aleteia, saying of the Obama administration:

“The United States actually said it would help Nigeria with Boko Haram only if we modify our laws concerning homosexuality, family planning, and birth control.”

A Wall Street Journal article about an interview with Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan published last week described “various issues” supposedly keeping the Obama administration from providing more support to Nigeria in its fight against Boko Haram, but did not mention the morals issues claimed by Bishop Badejo.
“The U.S. maintains a drone base in Chad, from which it conducts surveillance flights to monitor Boko Haram. It has provided training and some equipment to the Nigerian military, including $80 million of such support last year alone. Some U.S. legislators have said they want Special Forces troops shipped to Nigeria to help combat Boko Haram.

“But various issues have prevented closer cooperation. Training exercises with the army have been canceled over equipment disputes. Allegations that Nigeria’s military is guilty of grave human-rights abuses in battling Boko Haram—charges that Mr. Jonathan asserts are overblown—cloud the relationship. Many U.S. officials doubt that Islamic State would be able to forge a working partnership with a distant insurgency like Boko Haram, although the two groups voice mutual admiration.”
Catholic Bishop Emmanuel Badejo

President Jonathan did not mention the morals issues in the interview with the Wall St. Journal, but he said his government has been asking without success for the Obama administration to send military advisors and combat troops to Nigeria since early 2014. Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. Kirby John Kirby told the Journal the administration has not received any such requests and that “there are no U.S. troops operating in Nigeria.”

In August 2014, then U.S. Rep. Steve Stockman(R-TX) made a similar charge to Bishop Badejo’s, saying the Obama administration was withholding aid to Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram in part over Nigeria’s “social policy.”

The charge was denied by a State Department offical at a recent House hearing.

Bishop Badejo also questioned the West’s failure to curb financing of Boko Haram, speculating that the group has been allowed to flourish as a means of ‘population control.’
“I provided analysis for Vatican Radio not too long ago, and I asked two questions: is it really true that there is no one out there who can identify where all the money of Boko Haram is coming from? Is it true that there is nobody in the West who can at least help to block the funding of Boko Haram? Is it true that there is really nothing that Europe and America can do about it? I think there is a complicity also in the West in what is happening.
“I take it all back to the agenda of population control. That’s my theory. Anything that can reduce the population. There has been an inordinate alarm about the exploding populations in Africa. And anything that can be done to decrease or limit the growth of the population in Africa is quite welcome.
“In fact, recently I was alarmed when I heard Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, say that the United States government was committed to anything that would push the population control agenda. The United States actually said it would help Nigeria with Boko Haram only if we modify our laws concerning homosexuality, family planning, and birth control. It’s very clear that a cultural imperialism exists. In fact, I think that Africa is suffering greatly from a cultural imperialism that threatens to erode our cultural values.
“And I think, to say the least, it is criminal. Because if the West boasts of being committed to human freedom, mean it. If there are values that the West cherishes, they must not impose those values on Africa. It is part of human freedom. And at least Africa can stand up and say: “These are the values we cherish and these are the values we want to keep.” If the West cherishes freedom for gays and homosexual unions and abortion and contraception, suppose Africans are not wired that way. For the African, life is sacred. And that the world can watch hundreds of people dying in Nigeria every day and look away: it shows that even what we call Western civilization today is sick. What we say about human dignity and human rights is mere hypocrisy. There is a diminishing sense of the respect for the sanctity of life. And all of this is to be imposed on Africa, at whatever cost: we think that it is immoral and that it is unjust.”
Barack Obama’s extreme position on abortion is well known. It was recently acknowledged that he lied about his support for homosexual marriage to get elected president in 2008.
Last year President Jonathan signed in to law a bill banning homosexual marriage and relationships that was sharply criticized by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on behalf of the Obama administration.
A Reuters article on Western criticism of the law noted that Nigeria not being dependent on Western financial aid gave those governments little leverage to pressure Nigeria. If Bishop Badejo is correct, President Obama has decided the leverage he has is to punish Nigeria by letting Boko Haram slaughter Christians and rape and enslave Christian girls.

South Korea legalizes adultery

South Korea legalizes adultery

I told you guys there's something wrong with these Asian countries. Lol. From forcing people to go on vacation to have sex and produce more babies, to renting boyfriends and now they are legalizing adultery. South Korea has formally legalized adultery in their country...but not in a bad way!

The South Korean Constitutional Court at its plenary session yesterday February 25th struck down a 60-year-old law which forbids all act of adultery and punishes violators with two years imprisonment.

The presiding justice, Park Han-Chul while striking out the law said even though the act of adultery is bad, the country had no power in interfering in peoples private lives
“Even if adultery should be condemned as immoral, state power should not intervene in individuals’ private lives,” said presiding justice Park Han-Chul.
In the last six years, close to 5,500 people have been formerly arraigned on adultery charges including nearly 900 in 2014. In 2004, 216 people were jailed for adultery but the numbers dropped to 42 in 2008 and from 2008 till date, only 22 people had been sentenced to jail.

Now, married people in South Korea can have sex with other people and not face any penalty. I kinda support this. Why jail someone for adultery? It's too personal biko...something only the person's partner should deal with...

A woman identified as Mrs Taiwo Sheriffdeen gave birth to a baby boy without arms in Ifo LGA of Ogun state on Tuesday February 24th. According to a report by Punch, the woman gave birth to the baby, her first child, at Majotal Hospital, a private hospital in the Ilogbo area of Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking on the birth of her deformed baby, the mother said her husband, Mudashiru Sheriffdeen, ran away after he was told that their child was deformed at birth (the baby pictured above).
“This is my first child and I do not know why I gave birth to this kind of a baby. Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he ran away and had not come to see me. He is a commercial bus driver, and we had been married now for almost two years before God decided to answer our prayers.
When I was pregnant, we took every steps that the doctor directed us to take, but we did not know why we came about this calamity" she said.
According to the woman, her husband and the landlord of the place where she lives have asked her not to bring the child home. She also pleaded with the government to come and help her by adopting her baby
